Generals
  • Computer Service Computer Service: Charged of the communications area (Intranet and Internet) and development of application-oriented scientific data processing. It offers advice and stechnical support in planning implementation of both institutional computing and basic personal computer.
  • Library Library: Open to the public, is part of the CSIC Library Network. Center for one of the largest collections of Spain about Oceanography and Marine Sciences, with a bibliographical collection of about 7,000 volumes of books and 1,400 magazine titles, 500 of whom are currently received.
  • Administration: Charged of the overall center management providing administrative support for project management and reseach activities
ICM
  • Coastal Ocean Observatory Coastal Ocean Observatory: The Coastal Ocean Observatory (COO) is dedicated to the acquisition, management and visualization of oceanographic data. It was formerly the service "Estación marina" that was approved in the project of the new center in 2001. The new Strategic Plan of the ICM (2010-2014) restructured the former Station into the COO, integrating more activities and services.
  • Instrumentation Service Instrumentation Service: Maintenance of scientific instruments, development and testing of equipment and applications.
  • Electronic Microscopy Service Electronic Microscopy Service: Service available for observation of samples through Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and microanalysis by X-Ray energy dispersion (EDS).
  • Reference Biological Collections Reference Biological Collections: Collections providing access to a database to identify more than 2,000 species of fish, crustaceans and cephalopods from around the world.
  • Area of Aquaria and Experimental Chambers Area of Aquaria and Experimental Chambers: The area devoted to Aquariums and experimental chambers (ZAE) is a modern infrastructure in the Mediterranean area designed to keep alive different kinds of aquatic organisms.
  • Outreach Service Outreach Service: Provides support for scientist to undertake outreach activities of their own research
